Course Objectives To develop students' awareness of responsibility, cooperation, solidarity, effective communication and self-assessment skills in theoretical and practical ways through organized health improvement projects; to improve environmental health conditions, to raise awareness on health issues by giving health information to individuals, to contribute to sensitivity towards community needs and to provide continuity on these issues.
Course Description The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to define the areas of community service practices
  • will be able to describe the process of community service project management (observation, planning, assessment and evaluation)
  • will be able to use general communication techniques
  • will be able to produce local or global projects by using creative idea development methods
  • will be able to identify the problems related to the project and can create solving methods
Course Content Effective Communication Techniques, Community Service Implementation Areas, Project Design Process (Research, Planning, Implementation, Measurement and Evaluation), Business Idea Generation // Determination of Project Topics, Monitoring and Evaluation of Project Process, theoretical and practical information will be given.
