Course Objectives With this course students understand the concepts of safety and health at work, the health sector in risk factors and of the profession as an employee of one of these safety tips intended to gain knowledge and skills.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define History of Occupational Health and Safety
  • Define Occupational Health Epidemiology
  • Explain authorizations and responsibilities of occupational health and safety specialist
  • Define the concept of risk, hazard, primary, secondary, tertiary protection
  • Explain the physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic risks of the healthcare professional
  • Explain the psychosocial risks of the healthcare professional
Course Description The relationship between work and health, Health Risk factors, health care in terms of the classification of all possible health problems: look, accidents, occupational diseases Basic prevention measures, health care workers of the rights, responsibilities and regulations
